Witch hazel contains antioxidants and compounds like gallic acid and tannins that helps prevent widespread inflammation

Used externally it can help reduce skin irritation and inflamed or broken skin

Which hazel as a toner acts as an astringent, causing the tissue to contract to help shrink pores while soothing the skin and relieving inflammation which will be helpful in the treatment of acne. This may prevent acne-causing bacteria from infecting the skin.
