• Perennial
• Carpobrotus glaucescens is endemic to eastern Australia.
• It is found growing naturally in coastal areas on sand dunes along the New South Wales and Queensland coast.
• Carpobrotus glaucescens bears pink flowers and are pollinated by insects.
• It is drought tolerant and prefers dry or moist soil and can grow in semi-shade or sun.

• Carpobrotus glaucescens extract has been found to contain high amounts of antioxidants, as well as exhibiting high levels of anti-inflammatory and blood clot preventing behavior.
• It can also be used to relieve pain from insect bites and be applied to jellyfish stings and wounds.
