- Lavandula 'Meerlo' has serrated, grey-green leaves with a cream-colored margin.
- They are very high in essential oils making it particularly aromatic.
- Pale blue flowers are borne on tall stems from mid-summer onwards and are a bee and butterfly magnet!
- It can grow up to 90cm tall and and is suitable for a perennial border or rock garden, and for mass planting.
- Meerlo is ideal for growing in a container on the terrace or balcony.
- It is drought and heat tolerant.
- Meerlo needs well-drained soil and will grow in full sun to semi-shade.
- Prune after flowering.
